Welcome to Bloxham Village Gardening Club

About the Bloxham area

Bloxham Gardening Club Bloxham is a pretty village situated three miles from the market town of Banbury. It nestles in the North Oxfordshire countryside bordering the Cotswolds about 8 miles from Chipping Norton and about 25 miles north of the historic university city of Oxford.

Within the village there is a supermarket and several small shops, one which contains the local post office. It has three schools including a primary, secondary and a mixed boarding school.

The old part of Bloxham village, has many winding lanes, and has been designated as a conservation area.

It is easy to reach by car being halfway betwen London and Birmingham, both being about one hour fortyfive minutes away via the M40. The A361 runs through the village and is one of the main route to the heart of the Cotswolds.

Bloxham Gardening Club Banbury railway station is only 4 miles away with regular trains to all parts of the country.

There is a bus service that runs between Banbury and Chipping Norton which goes through the village which runs every two hours.
