Below is a list of the services that may be required in constructing and setting up your website from conception to a go-live state. The costs for these services vary according to the complexity of the site and the work that has to be done in order to make it comply with the design and client requirements.

This is the most critical part of any website as any post live changes will be both challenging and have a financial impact.
There is a one-off cost for the design of the website which will vary according to what type of site is required.
There will be quite a lot of client imput into this process as the structure and graphical content of the site will be defined together with the areas to be maintained by the client using the content managed option.

There a three possible of types web pages that can be included in any of our websites either solely or in combintion with each other. They all have advantges and disadvantages.
Any changes to the pages done by Bluebellweb Designs and could incure a charge but this will vary according to the maintenance agreement in place at the go-live date.
Static Web Pages
These are web pages that will not change or be altered very much over the lifetime of the website.
Database driven content managed pages
These are web pages that have content in them held on a database, that will be changed on a regular basis either by the user/owner or Bluebellweb via secure web based input pages.
Non-Database driven content managed pages
These are web pages that have content in them held on text files, that will be changed on a regular basis either by the user/owner or Bluebellweb via secure web based input pages.

Although the design stage appears to be not required it will still feature in this option as some or all of the website would need to be redesigned and rewritten in the Bluebellweb Designs format. Conversion programs will need to be written and tested in order for the data conversion to work properly.
The conversion of the old website may cost more than a complete new website and data conversion so care has to be taken when making the final decision.
Same look and feel
Convert existing site to reflect the same look and feel as the previous site as much as possible using the current Bluebellweb tools and technology.
New look and feel
Convert existing site to a new look and feel using the current Bluebellweb tools and technology. This may include a new website design.
Data conversion
Conversion and cleanup of the data to either flat textfiles or an SQL Database.

There are a number ongoing costs associated with running any website. Bluebellweb Designsoffer to take care of all these yearly costs by offering a monthly or yearly contract. Website Maintenance
There is a cost associated with the monthly/yearly maintenance of each Bluebellweb Designs run website. These include some minor changes, telephone support and initial training.
Domain Name
There is a yearly cost for the continual registration and use of the domain name (e.g. .co.uk, .com, .eu, etc). This is not a massive amount and can be included with the maintenance charges.
Web Hosting
There is a monthly/yearly cost for the hosting of the website on a server(including backups and security of the site). Bluebellweb Designs recommends a very reliable hosting company but will follow the clients instructions to use an alternative hosting company.

Design
A full analysis of all the information in and expectations of output e.g. reports from the available data. This will then lead to the design of an database schema which will fulfil the client requirements. This could be in the form of a flat file database for small site or a full SQL database based database for larger requirements. The costs will be relative to the size of the task and will be quoted for at the time.
Creation
The creation of an agreed database schema should be fairly swift with sample data initially used for first tests. When the database has been proved to be completeit will hen be signed off and the next stage will begin.
Data installation.
If there is only a small amount of data to be input into the new database then it can be done manually (by us or the client) but if there is a large volume of existing data then a conversion process will need to be commisioned. Before that can e done all of the data will need to be 'cleaned up' for a consistent supply of data. The conversion process will vary a lot depending upon the volume of new data to be entered.
Maintenance
There will be, from time to time a small amount of in house maintenance of the database to be done which will be included with the monthly maintenance agreement. Any larger changes will require a quotation and agreement before any work can take part.
